Probiotics are composed of a variety of microorganisms, including yeast (saccharomyces boulardii) and bacteria (such as lactobacillus, bifidobacterium).

In the stomach/intestines/vagina, microorganisms (flora) are naturally present. Certain situations (antibiotic usage, travel) can alter the normal bacteria/yeast balance. Probiotics are used to aid digestion and reestablish normal intestinal flora.

Uses of Probiotic and Prebiotic

Ensure that you follow the instructions on the packaging. To find out if you should swallow your medication whole, chew it, sprinkle it on food, or combine it with drink, refer to the product label’s instructions. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any queries.

Some live bacteria probiotic products may contain (such as bifidobacteria). Antibiotics may reduce the efficacy of these products. Antibiotics should be taken two to three hours before or after consuming any products containing live bacteria. If you have a particular item, use the steps listed below.

If you are taking this product for diarrhoea related to antibiotics, refrain from using it if you have a high temperature or if you have been taking it for more than two days, unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise. A major medical issue may need to be addressed.
